ME, in my element. where my passion comes from
As a Radiation Therapist working in busy Radiation Oncology departments across Victoria, I have watched many, many people struggle with disease and the side effects of rigorous treatment regimens for their illnesses. If I’ve learnt one thing from the patients that I have treated it’s that life is short and everything can be turned on upside down in the blink of an eye. Make the most of the life you’re given, don’t sweat the small stuff, do what makes you happy and surround yourself with people who truly believe in you.
what I believe
I am a huge believer that you inspire others through
your own actions. It’s one thing to talk the talk it’s
another to walk the walk. I share my own stories
through my social media account and my blog about
my training and adventures as an endurance athlete,
as well as my successes and failures to inspire people
to go out there and live their best life. Just because
something is hard or it’s going to take a lot of time and
effort to achieve it, doesn’t mean you shouldn’t give it
a go. There’s nothing like that feeling of watching all
your hard work come to fruition. The fear of failing can
be confronting for everyone, but in my experience, it’s
my failures that have taught me the most about life
and myself.
